Kolkata - 02 Nights, Gangtok - 03 Nights, Darjeeling - 03 Nights

    Day 1: Arrive at Kolkata      ( D)

On arrival at Kolkata meet & greet by our professional chauffeur for transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore this exciting city. Dinner and overnight at hotel.


    Day 2: Kolkata Sightseeing    ( B, D)

After breakfast we depart for a full day city tour with an introduction about the glory of Bengal in connection with Indian life and lore. Visit Victoria Memorial,Kalighat Temple, St. Paul's Cathedral drive through the heritage building of BBD bagh, and visit the famous Flower Market You will also experience a small Tram Ride along with a hand pull Rickshaw Ride during your days tour. Late afternoon you will be taken to Dakshineswar Kali Temple It is famous for its association with Ramkrishna who achieved spiritual vision here. Rani Rashmoni built this temple in 1847. The 12- spired temple with its enormous courtyard is surrounded by 12 other temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.Experience

the river cruise Dakshineswar Temple to Ballur Math across river Ganges by motorized boat and watch the glimpse of river along with the vibrant modern life and cultures of Kolkata. You will finish the tour at the Mother Teresa’s House, the headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 
 
    Day 3: Kolkata – Bagdogra – Gangtok (Sikkim)     ( B, D)

After breakfast we depart for the airport to catch the flight to Bagdogra. Meet & greet on arrival by our professional chauffeur and drive to Gangtok (115Km/4.5Hrs). At an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim. It is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


    Day 4: Gangtok Sightseeing    ( B, D)
After  breakfast  we  start our half day sightseeing  in and around this capital city of Sikkim, covering Enchey Monastery Chortan Stupa Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Sunday) and Roomtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Centre (24Kms/45Mins), the sect of the Kagyu order – one of the 4 major Tibetan Buddhist Sect.
 

    Day 5: Excursion Trip to Tsomgo Lake   ( B, D)

After breakfast we start for a half day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400ft), which is only 32kms from Gangtok City. The lake is approximately 1Km long, oval in shape and 15 meters deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Evening at leisure to explore Gangtok. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 
 
    Day 6: Transfer to Darjeeling    ( B, D)

After breakfast we commence our drive to Darjeeling (115Kms/ 4Hrs.). Dorje the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion was the origin of the name Darjeeling, which was first discovered by British in the year 1829 by Captain Lloyd. Surrounded by Tea Gardens Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm, which will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


    Day 7: Darjeeling Sightseeing    ( B, D)

After breakfast we start our half day local sightseeing covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday) Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday) Tibetian Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday). You might also experience the famous Toy Train Joy Ride (subject to availability). This unique Mountain Railway project was first started in 1878 by the initiative of Sir. Assly Eden and is now a World Heritage. Evening free for shopping & individual activity. Dinner and overnight at hotel.


    Day 8: Visit to Tiger Hill and Tukver Tea Garden      ( B, D)

Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak). Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the hotel. Breakfast at  the  Hotel  followed  by  visit  to Tukver Tea Estate The Tea
country is vast parkland of man made landscape, silver-barked and slim elevated trees stand evenly spaced out over trimmed tea bushes throwing a light shade over them. Darjeeling tea is famous around the world. Enjoy a tour of the garden along with the factory and discover the charming character. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


    Day 9: Darjeeling to Bagdogra      ( B)

After an early breakfast we transfer to Bagdogra Airport (95Kms/ 2.5hrs) to connect flight to Kolkata.
End of tour.
