Day 01: Delhi - Srinagar

On arrival in Srinagar airport, Meet & greet by our chauffeur and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats. Day at leisure. Dinner & overnight on the houseboat.

Day 02: In Srinagar

After breakfast sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (abode of pleasure) built in 1632 AD by Asif Khan brother-in-law of Emperor Jehangir. We also visit Shalimar Bagh (abode of love) built by Emperor Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. En-route we visit carpet-weaving factory.Lunch at houseboat. Afternoon we take Shikara (traditional Kashmiri boat) ride on Famous Dal Lake visiting floating and vegetable gardens

also witness walnut woodcarving and paper mashie making demonstration. Dinner & overnight on the houseboat.

Day 03: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast we start a full day trip to Gulmarg (60 kms/2 hours) (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 meters above sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest 18 hole golf course in the world. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view en-route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. Enjoy a short trek or horse ride up to Khilangmarg that can be covered in about 3 hours. Also enjoy sledge riding on snow. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available. Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Dinner & overnight on the houseboat.

Day 04: Srinagar - Kargil

After an early breakfast we drive to Kargil (205 Kms./6 hours drive) – on the historic trade route, also known as the ‘Treaty Road’ Being located in lap of the Himalayas, Kargil serves as an important base for undertaking adventure tourism and trips to the exotic Zanskar Valley and other Himalayan regions. Visitors traveling between Srinagar and Leh have to make a night halt here before starting the second leg of their journey. The town and its suburban villages lie nestled along the valley system formed by the confluence of the Suru River and its tributary, the Wakha-Chhu On arrival check in to hotel. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Kargil - Leh

After an early breakfast, drive to Leh (235 Kms / 6 ½ hrs drive) – The Capital of Ladakh. Ladakh is a land abounding in awesome physical features, set in an enormous and spectacular environment. Bounded by two of the world's mightiest mountain ranges, the Karakoram in the north and the Great Himalaya in the south, it is traversed by two other parallel chains, the Ladakh Range and the Zanskar Range. On arrival check in to hotel. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Leh

After breakfast proceed for a excursion to Khardung-la (18,380 ft.), one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Khardung-la is gateway to Nubra Valley, en-route have a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains which includes Parcha Khangri, Stok Khangri etc. One can also enjoy playing on snow. Dinner & overnight at the hotel .

Day 07: Leh

Today take an full day excursion to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Gompas. Shey Gompa lies on the way to Hemis. It is situated on the top of a hill and houses the largest victory stupa with a golden top. The statues made of copper and glided with gold are worth seeing. Thiksey Gompa lies on the left side of this road to Hemis. One can have a beautiful view of Indus Valley from the Gompa. Wall paintings of this Gompa are very interesting. From here drive to Hemis which is the oldest, wealthiest and largest Gompa in Leh with beautiful paintings stupas. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Leh - Delhi

After breakfast we drop you at Leh airport/station. End of tour
